About Me: I divide my professional time between private therapy, ADHD coaching, lecturing, training delivery, reflective practice groups and multi‑agency consultation. I work across Lincolnshire, the UK and online.

Since qualifying as a Human Givens Psychotherapist — and furthering my work through a Master’s degree — I have worked continuously with Children’s Services in numerous Local Authorities. I provide specialist therapeutic intervention for families experiencing safeguarding concerns, while collaborating closely with Social Work Teams to manage risk and support positive change. I also work extensively with Adoption and Post‑Adoption Support Teams.

In December 2020, I published a multi‑page article in the Human Givens Journal on the value of integrated therapeutic practice within multi‑agency environments.

Before becoming a full‑time trainer and Project Manager in 1998, I held roles as a Packaging Technologist, Supply Chain Manager and Business Development Manager, and implemented COSHH and ISO quality systems. My commercial background, combined with strong problem‑solving and project management skills, enables me to understand organisational dynamics and deliver psychologically informed training with real‑world relevance. I have developed bespoke Human Factors programmes and regularly deliver guest speaker seminars.

My approach: I am an energetic, authentic and compassionate therapist who places the client relationship at the centre of all work. Being neurodivergent myself, I bring lived experience, specialist training and a deeply empathetic understanding of how environments shape wellbeing.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the Human Givens model, offering clients the most appropriate and expedient intervention to meet unmet emotional needs, build coping skills and resolve traumatic templates. I work flexibly and collaboratively, ensuring clients feel safe, understood and able to discuss sensitive issues with ease.

Sessions are available face‑to‑face, online or as walking therapy, depending on need and suitability. I am committed to modelling healthy psychological practices so clients — and their families — can flourish at any age, with any neurodivergence or learning difficulty.

Qualifications: MA in Human Givens Psychotherapy, Human Givens Post Graduate Diploma, NLP Master Practitioner, Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis, Diploma in Stress Management, Accredited ADHD Coach, Accredited ADHD Assessor.

Other specialist training and interests include  trauma (PTSD), phobia cure, neurodiversity (ADHD, autism, learning differences), safeguarding and multiagency collaboration, applications of attachment theory to psychotherapy, training in attachment, couples therapy, adoption and family systems, understanding personality disorders and traits, motivational interviewing and meta‑cognitive therapy, mindfulness.

Memberships: Member of the MHGI.
